Questions

DJ lessons in Sussex: FAQs

How much are DJ lessons in Sussex?

Our DJ course is £999 for 8 one-to-one lessons at your home with a working DJ, ending with a live graduation set in front of family and friends.

What age can you start DJ lessons?

Our students start from age 10, and there's no upper age limit: we teach children, teenagers and adults. Every lesson is one-to-one, so it's pitched to the student's age and experience.

Do I need any DJ experience?

No. Our DJ courses run at three levels: Beginner for complete newcomers, then Intermediate and Advanced for people who are already mixing. We'll help you choose the right one.

Where do the lessons take place in Sussex?

At your home. You're matched with the mentor nearest to you in Sussex. Tell us your town on the form and we'll confirm available times.

Can I have DJ lessons online instead?

Yes. Some of our mentors also teach live one-to-one lessons online. Get in touch and we'll send you the options.

Are your mentors DBS checked?

Yes. All staff and mentors are subject to Enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training, in line with our Child Protection Policy.

Can you support additional needs?

Yes. We teach students with autism, ADHD, visual impairment, anxiety and other additional needs. Because lessons are one-to-one, the pace and approach fit the person.

Do you sell DJ lesson gift vouchers?

Yes. Gift vouchers are valid for 180 days and make a great present for a budding DJ.

What happens at the end of the course?

Every level, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, ends with a live graduation set in front of family and friends. Standout graduates may be invited to join the DJ Archie Agency for gigs and radio.
